Correct latch on means getting your baby to aptly attach to your breast for expressing mink. He/she must take the nipple and a large part of the areola (the dark portion surrounding nipple) into his/her mouth to effectively suck milk from the breast. If that doesn’t happen, it means your baby is not latching properly or there’s something wrong with your nipples. Get tested!
